Guria LAG Coordination Council Discusses Action Plan for the Upcoming Year

Within the framework of the EU-supported project ““Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth””, members of the Coordination Council of the LAGs of Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri, and Lanchkhuti held their next working meeting.

During the meeting, the LAGs presented their individual action plans for the upcoming year, discussed opportunities for implementing joint activities, and planned the organization of annual summary meetings in each municipality. Additionally, the issue of expanding LAG membership was addressed, and concrete steps were outlined to strengthen the groups and increase stakeholder engagement.

The Coordination Council serves as a platform for regional cooperation, aiming to enhance coordination between local groups and to develop a shared vision for sustainable development.

The “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project is implemented by CENN in cooperation with partner organisations: the Young Pedagogues’ Union, the Institute of Democracy, and the Local Action Group of KEDA (LAG), supported by the European Union within the European Neighbourhood Program for Rural and Agricultural Development ENPARD IV.
