Admission to the Civil Education Camp for Women Living in the Guria Region is Now Open

Within the EU-supported project “Green Guria – Support for Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Sustainable Green Growth,” CENN, in collaboration with partner organisations Young Pedagogues’ Union, Institute of Democracy, and Keda and Guria Local Action Groups (LAGs), – invites women living in the Guria region to participate in a Civic Education Camp.

The purpose of the Civic Education Camp is to support women in the Guria region in overcoming economic challenges and improving their living conditions. Participants will have the opportunity to attend thematic lectures and develop projects aimed at identifying and solving problems within the municipality. Successful project ideas developed by camp participants will receive funding, enabling them to implement these projects in their municipalities.

Women aged 18 to 55 living in Guria who are interested and motivated to actively work on solving socio-economic and environmental problems at the local level are encouraged to participate.

The camp will be held from July 1 to July 10, 2024, at the Green Center of Bulachauri.

The deadline for receiving applications is June 18, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.

Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

It is important that the applicant has an active email address, as information will be sent to the selected participants of the program at the email address specified in the application form.

The project aims to reduce poverty and improve the economic and social environment, as well as the living conditions of vulnerable communities, through civic engagement, inclusive rural development, and green growth.
