The Representatives of Guria LAGs Visited Projects Implemented with the Support of the European Union in Keda Municipality
Within the ongoing “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project, which is backed by the European Union, representatives of Ozurgeti, Chokhatauri, and Lanchkhuti local development groups (LAGs) visited Keda municipality.
The primary purpose of the visit was to share the experiences and activities of the members of the Keda LAG with representatives of the Guria LAGs. As part of the visit, LAG members explored projects supported by the European Union within the CENN project – Keda Leader, including Chateau Iver, Hill Inn, the dried fruit factory “Kerki,” the bee house in Makhuntseti, and the zipline.
The “Green Guria – Supporting Local Democracy and Rural Development for Inclusive and Resilient Green Growth” project is implemented by CENN in cooperation with partner organisations: the Young Pedagogues’ Union, the Institute of Democracy, and the Local Action Group of KEDA (LAG), supported by the European Union within the European Neighbourhood Program for Rural and Agricultural Development ENPARD IV.
